I love these imitation candles. I recently went on a candle holder making adventure and I wanted something that would be safer that tealights with the little ones in the house so I opted for these and I have to say, the price was right, and the candles were not disappointing at all. They even flicker like real candles. I left one on 24/7 just to see how long it would last and the battery that comes in it lasted for 3 days. Now if you cut it off and on at appropriate times that might last you a month, or more, But curiosity led me to experiment and running all the time it lasted 3 days. It flickers like a real candle would also, The light is a little dimmer than real candle would be so I used 2 on some candle holders where I would have only needed one real tea light candle but it comes in a package of 12 so thats a small price to pay for safety and not worrying about little hands, and falling asleep with candles burning. Great product shipped fast I would recommend this to anyone.

Good for what they are and safer than real flame

The batteries don't last quite as long as you'd expect for an LED tea light but, the replacement batteries are cheap enough. They are good for what they are -- safe little flickering lights. I had originally purchased them to use in little glass votive holders around the table and buffet during a family party where I didn't want to worry about someone knocking one over and setting stuff on fire or worry about a curious child getting burned. They looked great and people liked the decorative touch, so there's that. I put them away after the party and figured I wouldn't use them again until the following year, but ended up needing them during the multi-week power outage after Hurricane Sandy. I used them like runway lights on the floor to mark a safe path to the bathroom, kitchen, and to mark the top of the stairs. Since then, I've used them as decoration and a few are in my emergency kit waiting to be used as indoor runway lighting again.

They flicker, realistic, the batteries they came with worked, but were a little dull; so I obtained extra new spares and it made it bright. This item was sturdy, as in past different company providers- the bottom closure was far too loose resulting in not enough pressure to turn the battery to working position and requiring I tape it; Not this one, these were good quality. Flame is even more realistic in that it is a yellow hue, not white.

I ordered two packages of these battery-operated tealights. Every single one works just fine, contrary to other reviews.

They have a bit of a flicker to simulate more natural candlelight. They arent as bright as real wax tealights. However I bought them to use on high shelves where I dont want a open flames to leave soot marks on the all and ceiling, but where UI do want some nice ambient mood lighting for parties and dinners.

Also I have two small kids, and Ive been using them in holiday tealight holders which are placed lower on tables. I dont have to worry about my kids touching them, and they can help turn them on and light them at night, which they really enjoy.

I am totally pleased with this purchase. If you have kids especially, these are fantastic.

These tealight candles work and they last long, however they are very dim. The lights are not nearly as powerful or bright as I was anticipating they would be when I purchased them. I used them to put inside of mason jars that I wrapped with fabric, to light the room when it was dark. They got the job done (when I used 3 per jar). However, they were kind of cheap and just not quite what I was expecting.

Cheap and Far From Realistic

This is the type of item you want to see in a store first, in action, before purchasing, because there are so many cheap clones out there.

I tried to use these in an exposed type of candle holder, which is not ideal. The flicker is such a poor rendition of an attempt, and the flame color is far from realistic. Maybe they would look better inside a wax candle holder where they are hidden, the light is diffused through the wax, and the flicker is not so obviously fake. But I have no interest to bother - they are being returned.

You'll find much better versions of these LED candles, with better flame color, and realistic flicker. Definitely worth your time to research first.

I bought the 12 pack thinking they would be the same candle as the 4 pack, since they are listed as the same item. I was wrong, the 12 pack ones are clearly a different and lower quality product. The top flame part is plastic, on the 4 pack the flame part is a soft rubber. The flicker rates between them are also different. If I could give 0 stars I would. Very dissatisfied.
