About the Author

Author Brenda Pandos lives in California with her husband, two energetic boys, eight chickens and a grumpy orange cat, though her kids keep begging for a dog #notadogperson #catrulesthehouse, that isn't happening soon. She avoids cooking and housework by writing fast-paced stories about kissing, hot mermen, bad boy vampires, and occasionally zombies--not all in the same stories... #issues. When she's not writing, or wrangling her kids, she's sleeping... or making up crazy #hashtags, failing at her latest Pinterest replication #lamechef or delivering a really bad pun. More than anything she loves to hear from readers. Feel free to email brendapandos@gmail.com or write on her facebook wall. Over the past four years, Brenda Pandos has entertained readers – both young and old – with her Mer Tales series. Evermore is the latest and hopefully, not the last, installment. Like its predecessors, Evermore is a fast-paced story with copious plot twists and turns which will keep fans guessing until the very end.

The story opens following a very eventful five months for both Ashley Lanski and Finley Helton. Fin has saved Ash’s life, the couple have become promised mates, Ash has become a mermaid, Ash has discovered she was originally born a mermaid, the couple have been part of a coup d’etat in Natatoria, and all this only begins to scratch the surface.

Now, the two are preparing to return home from Natatoria, the aquatic realm beneath the earth’s mantle with a political system worthy of a dozen doctoral dissertations, and reunite with her adoptive parents. If only things were that simple. Ash and Fin will arrive on the shores of Lake Tahoe to find they are in hot water with the authorities, Ash’s parents, and there are still four more weeks of school left before graduation. Throw in the announcement that Ash and Fin are engaged and plan to be married in August and you have the beginnings of a perfect storm.
"My heart gushed with happiness as I listened to him defend his love for me, that I was his everything."

Natatorian males have a persuasive way about them and no, this does not mean brass knuckles. They possess the ability to sing their way out of most situations involving humans and Fin is quite capable when it comes to handling things. This is precisely what Ash does not want him to do. She is tired of watching her family enter a zombie-like state whenever Fin warbles their way out of sticky situations.

The story could have finished at the end of book 3 but this was a nice follow up. However, it felt like that...a follow up, not as good as the first three books...in my opinion. It was still a good book and a nice way to provide more closure in some areas while setting up the opportunity for another book. That being said, I will still read book 5 when it comes out.

*I was given an ARC for an Honest Review*
**I Totally bought the book also**

Evermore was everything I could hope it would be! I laugh, I cried, and I raged. Brenda Pandos knows the right amount of mixture to give her readers. I hope to see more in the Mer Tales Series.
Have in the past raved about Brenda Pandos writing style, I am one happy readers that she has lost her touch with her words and draws you in right away.
The Story is everything I could ever wanted for Ash and Fin. It had the characters from the last 3 that we all wanted to see. Even if it was brief. I love How Brenda pick it up like no time had past since the last was out.
Dear Brenda, I will need more Mer Tales please.
I give this 5 fins up

Every time a new Mer Tales book comes out, I lose a night of sleep. Can.Not.Put.These.Books.Down.
Loved this one! (Although as an adopotee who was abandoned at birth by my biological mother this hit a bit close to home for me at times and was very emotional.) I really did love this story from beginning to end and Alastar's exit was SO SATISFYING.
I adore these characters and I'm not nearly ready to let them go. Thank you, Mrs. Pandos for the wonderful world you've written.

(This review has been edited to fix typos that I just noticed. I swear that I'm not grammatically challenged, the auto-correct on my Fire tablet is!)

This is the fourth book in a four book series about Merfolk, so this review covers all four (Everblue, Evergreen, Everlost, and Evermore.) This is a love story with all the kinks one would expect and some interesting ones that could only happen when human and merfolk interact. The characters are fully developed, believable and likeable (hateable). In fact, there are a few whose "story" would probably make great prequel material (Badger, Nicole and Pearl.) This world has as many possibilities as Pern (created by Anne McCaffrey.) While written for a young adult reader, I simply could not put any of them down (age 59).

Fin and Ash are ready to be married on the beach in Tahoe, but just like everything in their lives, nothing goes according to plan. There was something fishy gong on, on land. A stalker, and old villain reappears and family treason, yup this book has it all. It is probably the darkest of all of these met series, but it turned out okay in the end. I hope there will be more Fin and Ash to come..

i thought the EVER Mer tales books should of ended with the third one. I like the series, but it seemed to drag on. the 4th book was a surprise ... I thought maybe it would improve... it still was lacking something. it kept me reading it, I mean I read the whole thing in a sitting. but it just.. I don't know. I was a good end. a happy ending for Fin and Ash.

I ordered the first book of this series because I enjoy a good mer tale now and then. I've started several that didn't keep my interest. I was mesmerized by Everblue, and downloaded the next book as soon as I finished it. I devoured one book after another and Hope there will be at least one more in this series! I am already missing the characters.
