From the manufacturer
A Legacy of Japanese Design and Manufacturing.
Originally operating out of a small Tokyo store front in the 1920s, we’ve spent over 90 years designing, manufacturing, and reinventing quality products within the outdoor recreation and sports industry. Over our long history our brand has grown to become a design and one of the manufacturing leader in Japan, and we’re now proud to bring our line of titanium cookware to our fellow outdoor adventurers in North America.
It’s our goal to continue bringing you the lightest and strongest titanium cookware we can engineer so together we can cover more miles and spend more time in our great outdoors.
The Evernew "Water Carry" line of collapsable hydration bladders once again demonstrates Evernew's attention to detail in considering the backpacker's needs.

I have used the sawyer mini as my drinking and cooking water filter for 8 continuous weeks in the Appalachian Mountains with all 3 types of bags commonly used.. Sawyer bag, platypus bag, and finally the Evernew Bag.
Evernew is lighter and has thinner material than either of the other 2 types. That is why it weighs less, plain and simple.
This also made it by far the least durable with a sawyer filter product or any product where forced is applied to the bag to produce water pressure. How much less durable... laughably pathetically NOT durable. Less than 10 days of field use. The kind of use where you are babying new gear so as to try in vain to prevent in from springing a leak.. no luck, this thing simply did not work.
Cap is easy to turn and is on a leash = convenient.
Lighter/flimsier material = less convenient when you try to fill with water vs more stiff bags that can be held upright more easily.
-Lightest and slightly more convenient design makes this an good bladder type water bottle for carrying water.
-NOT RECOMMENDED for Sawyer Filters.
3 stars for great bag, but only 3 due to durability issues and higher than competitor costs.
I believe these are the most durable bladders on the market, especially when compared to the Sawyer bags, which last maybe a month at best. The clear bag helps me know how much water I've collected and the cap attached to the bag means I don't ever lose the cap (very important). The Sawyer Squeeze attaches to the bag without any issues and the bag doesn't strip the o-ring in the Squeeze like the Platypus bags do. The bag stands up on it's own when filled with water. I will be buying more Evernew bags for any future backpacking trips.
I love that it rolls up and has elastic to keep it together. Time will tell on the durability of it...
It is very difficult to drink out of while driving, or doing any other activity that requires a hand. You need both hands to be able to drink out of it.
