From the Author
It is my pleasure to educate therapists, nurses, ministers, and others around the US and the globe on how to understand and approach clients regarding their sexuality. In updating my book, I learned how our ideas about sexuality change and evolve--sometimes very quickly, as with our understanding of gender, and sometimes slowly, as with coaching parents on how to talk to their children about sex.

Therapy with sexual minorities is beautifully discussed. Sex In aging, with trauma survivors, with medical problems, out of control behaviors are just some of the subjects handled with care. Transgender and Transexual is discussed and explained well. Pelvic pain is handled and taught - a subject not taught in many medical programs until recently. Examples from her office practice are used to further bring home points. This book also offers easy to print out illustrations and client/ pt handouts. This book teaches and assists in teaching others. It is a reference book and easy to read book that can be used for course work. I fully would recommend that beginners use this book and more advanced sexual professionals use it for reference,
