I listen to this CD all of the time. Not only because it is well written and performed, but even moreso because it was digitally mastered. The net result is that your stereo shines with it. Absolutely no distortion, the highs are crystal clear and the low really gets your sub or regular woofer kickin. Great CD across the board. Their isn't a single bad cut.

Another great album for making your stereo shine is Lee Ritenour's with Wes Montgomery's "Wes Bound"

When friends come over and you start talking sound systems, they both are great.

I first heard David Benoits CD when I visited a high end stereo store, and that is what they were using to sell their equipment. Highly recommended.

This one stands the test of time. The harmonic vocals on Key To You from the pop group Ambrosia lend a taste of familiarity and pastel contrast to this piano based masterpiece performed by the genius of Benoit...

When you are as accomplished as Mr. Benoit is, it would seem you have to work your butt off to get even better. He did and he has. Every Step of the Way is an outstanding album from Cut 1, the title song to #11, Saturdays. There's certainly something in here for nearly everybody.

Produced by Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen, (GRP), this fully digital disc will sound good on just about anything you choose to play it on. Well, that little thing of your daughter's with that rodent's face on it won't likely enhance the disc, but it'll sound good there nonetheless.

Benoit is one talented individual. I'd say he rocks, but he jazzes.

Just browsing on Amazon and I am surprised & shocked that nobody has written a review for this album. This is one of the smoothest album I have ever heard - words simply fail me.
Do yourself a favour...you won't be disappointed.

This is one of my most favorite David Benoit albums. Even though it is an older title, it stands the test of time. Fresh tunes
abound and there is even a vocal on one of the songs by David Pack (formerly of Ambrosia) which is great!! I wholeheartedly
recommend this album.

A hallmark of David Benoit recordings is the quality of the audio. There isn't an ounce of mud in these recordings, it is as crisp and defined as anything you will hear and this recordings is one example of that. But this smooth jazz pianist keeps the recording lite and if one needs a little edge you will have to look elsewhere. The is polished, very listenable, polite, intelligent easy listening music. Were it not for the generally high level of musicianship, this could be called elevator music.

Not only did I get my CD in such a few days but the music was like I had just bought it at the music store. THe condition was excellent and it gets played daily for I adore David Benoit and his music to relax by or set a mood.

I first listened to this album back in '88. I was only 13 years young at that time but David Benoit's beautifully written pieces from this particular period blew me away. It sort of started me onto the musical path. Shibuya Station inspires; Painted Desert moves you with its' moody arrangement; The Key to You is now a classic; and the rest of his compositions found here are sure to make your drive home from work well worth it.
