About the Author
Born in Washington DC on March 13, 1987 and adopted shortly after, Maxwell Radford moved with his new family across the country to Seattle, WA at age seven then by himself to Atlanta, GA at nineteen. Despite early signs of being skillful with words, Maxwell found his attention drawn to other, more “stimulating” pastimes. He began writing again as a way to lift his spirits during some particularly rough years in his late teens and early twenties. His observations about the hazards of everyday life and the lack of ambition in himself and most of the people he associated with morphed into a story about struggle and survival and accomplishing ones dreams no matter what obstacles were placed in front of them. Ironically, he finished writing this book during a short bid in a local Atlanta county Jail. Determined to right the wrongs of earlier mistakes he made in life, Maxwell is currently hard at work on another novel with the hope of establishing his own publishing company in the near future. Despite having no college degree and minimal job experience, Radford has refused to let his past control his future. Shrugging off feelings off disbelief and skepticism, he shouldered his way past uncountable technological difficulties to create a product entirely of his own design. More than changing his own life, he hopes that “Everybody’s Got a Dream, Right?” might help change others as well.
