Thank you Jeff Sauber for this excellent work. I recommend it to every person who has a brain and some lungs.
Once you get past the cultural envelope, dogma, and technicalities, most styles of meditation are pretty direct, and in my view, the best way to get started is to get started doing it. What gets in the way of people being able to experience results is either that it's presented in an overly complicated way, or the technique just isn't right for them.
In my book, I offer over 20 different kinds of meditation, organized in a logical and practical way, and illustrated with diagrams and also stories from my personal experiences. You can read it from start to finish, or just open it at random and try a technique. All the methods are presented in easy-to-follow instructions without exotic terminology. There are also meditative techniques that you can use to fight stress and help achieve your goals.
On top of all of that, there's a great chapter all about stress management that has been described as "worth it's weight in gold!"
