Part of the Everyday Math program is teaching a concept and going back to it several times, weeks later (or even longer than weeks). You can see how that would make it difficult if your child (or you) couldn't remember how something was done, or the meaning of something, if it wasn't covered yesterday. You'd have to dig through your kid's school papers trying to find one on the subject. You get the idea.
The only alternative is to simply use the internet to find what you are looking for, which is a viable option, however I like to have the book because it is what the kids use in school so it will be explained the same way.

This did not live up to my expectations. Good work book but not challenging enough for a precocious seven year old. Read morePublished on January 2, 2013 by Gloria Harvey
