I first heard of Bob Pressner when he sang a duet with his daughter a few years back that was very touching,
I've always kept up with his music but there was a long lag in between albums. I have to admit, it seems like it was worth it,
Everyman is a terrific album filled with probably the best songs he's ever recorded. There's another duet on the new album, After The Fall
with a female vocalist whose name escapes me which is beautiful. I love the feel of the song New York City with its driving beat and sax sound,
reminiscent of Clarence Clemmons, and the genuine emotion and worry about The American Dream, another outstanding song.
On the flip side, the song If It Ain't One Thing made me smile because ain't it the truth. All in all a great album from start to finish.
Congrats Bob, your time away was well worth it.
