I would highly recommend this book to anyone dealing with cancer! This Kindle 2012 Edition seems to be the latest update for this book. I received the 2001 edition of this book in 2004 from the Stanford Cancer Supportive Care Program and I found the book to be extremely helpful. After six months of intensive chemo in 2004 at the Stanford Cancer Center with wonderful care from Dr. Advani and the Stanford team, my stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma is considered "cured". LIFE IS GOOD!

If you have, know anyone with or treat cancer...this is a must have. As a nurse, patient and supporter of family with cancer this book gave such wonderful insight and wisdom. I highly recommend it to anyone touched by cancer.

I ordered this book for my daughter-in-law and she has shared much of the info with her family. This is a great support for her mother.
