About the Author
Kristen Ashley grew up in Indiana, but has lived in Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least), but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched). Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

With Everything I am is the second book in Kristen Ashley's The Three trilogy. Running from trouble, werewolf Callum encounters 5 year old human, Sonia, in the woods. She moves to protect him. He moves to protect her. It's instinct. It's destiny. Fast forward 30 years, the pair meet again. This time, Callum won't let her go. Ever.. Will Sonia submit to her destiny?
And what did I think about it?
I warn you, I can barely write a coherent review on this book because I just want to write one sentence over and over: I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! But anyway, here's a real go at it..
Sonia is destined to be Callum's mate, but she is left in the dark about all things wolf, vampire, and prophecy. This is unfortunate for Callum as he and the wolves aren't aware of Sonia's special gifts and they find themselves misrepresenting their true intentions throughout the book. When she comes to term with what she thinks is going on, she is heart broken. And it will take a wolf village to rectify it..
Callum is the ultimate alpha male. Regardless of her intentions, his lady can not resist him. Let me be frank about this, Callum and Sonia are smoking hot. As in panties don't even stand a chance against melting.. Callum is also all about his werewolf family. Is there anything sexier than a fierce family man *ahem, wolf? Nope. Did I mention this book is sexy as sin? Okay then.. Moving right along..
The world building continues to amaze me in book 2 of this trilogy. The preternatural species, the prophecies, the marriage of the stories - all of it thoroughly engaged me. My review of book 1 may be found here. I wholeheartedly recommend this series to paranormal romance and Kristen Ashley alpha male fans and rate it 5 infinity stars.
PS: Anyone else want Kristen Ashley to branch out into a werewolf series that follows Ryon, Calder, and the rest of the supporting sexy wolf cast of this book?? I can't be the only one.. Ms Ashley, please? I beg of you..

My Take on the Book :
Bitter and sweet. This book is both at once. I’ve re-read this story several times and it till brings me to tears every time.
Let's Talk About the Girl...
Sonia Arlington has lived a lonely life. She has certain abilities that make her strange and she has a rare disease that, if untreated, could kill her. Her father makes her vow that she will never let others discover her abilities. This forces Sonia to stay distant, always guarding against exposure.
Let's Talk About the Guy...
Callum is King of the Werewolves and has war on his hands. He’s forced to claim his mate and integrate Sonia into a world that is strange and frightening. He doesn’t understand humans. He doesn’t understand Sonia’s reactions to him. Initially he feels stuck with a human mate, but almost immediately, he can see that Sonia is magnificent. She is perfect for him.
Let's Talk about the Story...
One night Sonia is attacked in her home. She is recused by a giant of a man. A dream man. Literally. She’s dreamed of this man since she was 17. So when she wakes up in her parents beloved cabin after the attack. A cabin that wasn’t supposed to exist after a fire. She believes she’s having another dream. She meets Callum, the dark haired mountain man of her dreams and finds out that he is a ‘leader of men.’ So this goes from a dream to nightmare, Sonia has been kidnapped. She tries to escape. She has no idea that:
She is the mate of a warewolf King
He saved her life
He plans to mate her by the end of the day.
Callum doesn’t explain anything very well, which leads Sonia to jump to some pretty understandable conclusions. Over hearing his family, (and still not knowing what he really is, she believes Callum is simply doing his duty to his kingdom and doesn’t love her)
As everything is thrown at her Sonia reacts the best way she can. She tries to move into her role as queen and help. Even going to far as to move to Scotland and into his family castle. (Yes, still not knowing about his wolfishness)
She finally finds out about Callum in one of the best scenes of the book. (See Spoilers) And after several weeks of Callum having to tuck his tails between his legs, he finally gets the full sweetness that is Sonia, but sadly it sort lived.
Sonia’s rare disease becomes worse and Callum learns that he has even less time with her than he thought.
This is a great book and at $3.99 is worth a read. I loved the banter between Cal and Sonnie. I loved the build up and the end was a complete surprise. I’ve re-read this book a few times and it hasn’t lost it’s appeal. I hope you give this one a try.
