"Miss Caroline Crispin, daughter to England's royal architect, speaks boldly and flirts audaciously...Ramsey's smooth prose and witty dialogue make for enjoyable reading." - Publisher's Weekly
"Willa Ramsey is a delightful new voice in historical romance. Everything But the Earl is funny, fresh, and charming. I love the genuine partnership between Adam and Caro as he helps her fight the patriarchy and expands his own definition of gender roles." - Victoria De La O, 2017 RITA finalist for Tell Me How This Ends
"Everything but the Earl has everything you could want in a Regency romp: a headstrong, forward-thinking heroine; a charming, homebody of a hero; and enough witty repartee to fill readers with delight. Willa Ramsey brings a refreshing new voice to Regency Romance." - Elizabeth Essex, Award Winning Author of the Highland Brides Series
About the Author
Before becoming a novelist, Willa Ramsey wrote meeting minutes. And web copy. And planning reports. She doesn’t miss those jobs, but appreciates how much they taught her: Transcribing all those conversations? Developed her ear for dialogue. Web writing? Taught her pith. Years of city planning? Gave her a fresh take on Regency London. So her road to becoming an author was full of wrong-turns and unexpected stops. But sometimes, those are just what you didn’t know you needed!

Caro and her mom, I loved their little heart to heart towards the end. Adam and his sister Edie were sweet. I loved the feisty personalities in their family and their interactions. I loved the healing of resentment between Adam and his mother also.
But of course what everyone wants to know is the relationship between Caro and Adam as they are the main characters. Their relationship is humorous, odd, and just plain amazing. It is silly and fun and touches on them as individuals and how that will blend to make a couple. I haven't loved a couple so much in so long. I loved that Adam was not the typical alpha male. He was a bit more introverted, awkward, shy. Caro is outgoing, spunky, and rushes in without thinking. They balance one another out. He makes her think things through and she brings him out of his shell and into the world. Showing him it can be fun.
They were an amazing couple. This was the best impulse buy ever and I cannot wait to read the next in the series.
Historical romance is my first love and this story reminded me why!
I'd recommend it for fans of Jenna MacGregor, Mary Balogh, and Valerie Bowman
I can't wait for the next book by this author. And the next. And the next...
