Yes, I did learn Italian with this book. Of course, not ONLY with this book but it helped me a lot. This has a simple approach where I can get what it teaches and remember them easily. Why 4 star rating? I wantedto actually give like 3,5 stars because of the volume of errors inside but all the same, the errors did not stop me from reading the book, learning it and doing the exercises.I read the book fromend to end twice and at the same time, I still make it as my reference text whenever I get caught with a question.My Italian may not be perfect, but for someone who did not have any formal Italian education, I am satisfied of this book's help and my own zeal to learn.Learning does not rely in the book alone, it has your own factor! Your own factor is much stronger than the book factor. I got lucky to havelived in Italy for 8 months, worked with Italian colleagues and live with an Italian. These factors are much stronger than the book factor but as I said, I also read and really learned the book closely.In fact, this book is the reason why I bought the everything books also in French, German and Spanish!See the images I shared,some exercises I answered already.Good luck with buying this book. I read the book fromend to end twice and at the same time, I still make it as my reference text whenever I get caught with a question.
My Italian may not be perfect, but for someone who did not have any formal Italian education, I am satisfied of this book's help and my own zeal to learn.
Learning does not rely in the book alone, it has your own factor! Your own factor is much stronger than the book factor. I got lucky to havelived in Italy for 8 months, worked with Italian colleagues and live with an Italian. These factors are much stronger than the book factor but as I said, I also read and really learned the book closely.
In fact, this book is the reason why I bought the everything books also in French, German and Spanish!
