She received her doctorate from the University of Mississippi and teaches English, Linguistics, and Russian at Bridgewater State College. She is a member of the American Association of Applied Linguistics and the International Society for Language Study. She lives in Bridgewater, MA.

The book has the alphabet and whatnot but it has some useless things.
If you want to start learning Russian, I would not recommend this book.
This book is for people that already somewhat know a little Russian.
