Vintage A.G....Period.

Format: Audio CDVerified Purchase

For those who are used to the typical Showbiz & A.G. format, you're not going to find that on this album. As a matter of fact, A.G. has always went out of his comfort zone, in terms of working with unknown producers; hence...Ray Berri, Dj Design & Tommy Tee(from the "Get Dirty Radio" album). However, these unknown producers are better than most of your common favorites such as Pharrell, D-Dot, Just Blaze and Track Masters. What makes A.G. so unique is that his rhyming patterns adapt to any production. Ray berri definitely proved himself to be worthy of any music collaboration. Unlike most producers, Ray Berri knows how to set the mood. I can detect that he's also a crate digger, based on the rich & soulful samples he used. What makes it interesting is that he combines original vocals & instrumental programming to create a balanced sound. As a result, the topics of each song coincide with the production, and it takes the listener to different dimensions of thought; far from what is normally played on music video & radio shows. If you're tired of junkfood music and yearn for a home-cooked meal, then I strongly recommend that you purchase this hand-crafted album. A.G. is definitely one my top five MC's of all time.
