It has allowed me to get some great photos by getting much closer than possible without this blind.
I'd recommend it highly and would gladly purchase it again.
As for the overall size, I am 6’3” and 240 lbs and I have plenty of room to sit... by myself. But I would never try to squeeze into this thing with anyone besides my petite wife or one of my elementary age kids. So if you are planning a hunt with a buddy, do yourselves a favor and get a bigger blind!
Ok one more thing, from what Ive read about deer vision is that deer are capable of seeing shades of blue and yellow as if they are ultraviolet. So why would you put the ameristep logo on the front window in bright blue print of all colors!? It’s nothing a bit of Camo duct tape can’t cover up. Not a big deal but come on Ameristep, your supposed to be helping to conceal us not hurting.
I love the portability of it, not to heavy to carry in the woods a long ways if you have to.
Its a good size, plenty of room for one large guy ( I'm 260 lbs )
It was cheap in price, worth the money. I got it for $50 with Amazon Prime discount.
only three sides have a screen window, the door side does not.
the screen windows are small and are low to the ground, so if your very tall at all they are pretty well useless and you just have to unzip the openings which is what I did.
lastly, there is no orange on the outside, during bow season this is not an issue, but during gun season, in my state anyways, it is required to have 144 cubic inches of orange on each side during gun season. This wasn't a deal breaker for me, I just bought some fabric and used safety pins to keep it on, however this puts small holes in the material which make it less waterproof.
