"Quantifying the User Experience" is now my go-to quantitative UX research methods book. This companion book has helped me apply the knowledge communicated in the original book efficiently with examples and problems that have (so far) matched my real-world consulting projects well. The book is also very useful as a guide for explaining statistical outcomes correctly. Note that to use the book to its full extent, you must either purchase an Excel calculator package from Jeff Sauro's website (certainly worth it if you are doing a lot of quantitative UX work) or use the "R" open source statistical software along with a free R custom function file downloadable from Jim Lewis's website. The book tells you how to obtain both tools, and solutions to each example are presented using both the Excel-based calculator workbook and R software.

Link does work. Just watch out for confusing 0s and os like I did. Upping my review to 5 stars because of helpful replies, and in good faith since the rest of the book seems great.

What's the point of an R companion book if the link to the custom functions is dead?!?

Was pretty excited to get this book and use R, however after typing in the link they provide (multiple times) to download their custom R functions, I found only access to .ocatch.com and nothing more. Lame.

Would like a refund if they cannot fix this problem.
