I won't go into full details about Disney Infinity because it's best to read reviews of the Starter Pack. This bundle does nothing by itself, but gives the ultimate in flexibility for the game. Out of the box, the starter pack comes with a limited number of figures, and only one figure from each domain. You get Sully without Mike, Mr. Incredible without all the other characters from The Incredibles and so on. That limits game play quite a bit. With this add on, you get a set so comprehensive that it makes me wonder whether anybody can get to all of it.

There are two major advantages to this bundle. One is that it comes with Amazon's exclusive Mickey figure. The second is that it comes in a large plain cardboard box, and inside you get the figures in their full retail packaging. So if you wanted to give a set of three figures as a gift to one person and another set to somebody else, you would be able to. You could easily turn this into gifts for seven people, give each one two to four characters (in separate packages, meaning multiple gifts) and still have the bonus Mickey left over.

Once you start unpacking this, you realize that it's a lot more than it seems, and when I removed each figure from the box, it seemed as if the unpacking would never end.

We purchased this bundle along with the Disney Infinity starter pack. We knew that we would probably buy the characters and the Cars and Toy Story playsets based on what we have seen and heard so this seemed like a good deal. The bundle also comes with the Sorcerer's Apprentice which I have heard is difficult to get? Amazon says it is an Amazon Exclusive, but it is not packaged in any special way. It comes in a cardboard box with the playsets and characters in the individual plastic packages you would see hanging on the racks at Target or Walmart. It does not come with the Lone Ranger playset.
If you either have little of no duplication with your collection then this is a really good deal.

I will admit I am not a happy with skylanders or Disney infinity because of the financial commitment they are expecting from consumers just to play video game with any content. With that said, my family loves Disney and my son really wanted Disney Infinity for Christmas. I initially bought the starter pack which comes with the game and three characters but you quickly see that game play is limited. So this is actually a decent deal considering the costs. At the time I got this this it had everything available for the game. All the characters are so neat and we love having them on display in the house and the kids enjoy the game. It's a great all in one pack to add lots of options to the game play.

I got my kids the Infinity starter pack and that only came with 3 figures. I looked at prices of them individually and they run about 12.99 (retail) for singles and about 30.00 (retail) for the playsets. At the time I got them the starter pack Disney Infinity was brand new and a lot of the figures were hard to find (especially the girls). Once the package came I was beyond impressed with the amount of figures we got. It allowed us to catch up super fast and the price of each was cheaper than retail by buying this bundle. Couldn't be happier! Thanks Amazon!!!

Buy this bundle first before any other figurines. Can't beat the price per figure in this set, not to mention the Sorcerer Mickey that you get. Plus you don't have to worry about doubling up too much if you start off with this set (after the starter set that is).

This is what started us in on the figure based games. I blame this for our Skylanders addiction.

Very fun game to a point. Monsters Inc, Cars, Pirates and Lone Ranger sets were the highlights.

Incredibles and Toy Story are very Meh.

No interest in the Toy Box as neither of us are very creative and being drunk when playing doesn't lead to very good level designs.

Also don't like the fact that we can't use Elsa or Vanelope (or others) in play sets that they don't belong to. Hopefully this gets ironed out in 2.0!

My kids are addicted to this game. They have played it four days straight now. We opened all the Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars, Lone Ranger, Monster University, and Toy Story Areas. They put on the Incredibles today and we Found that Dash is not seen by the system. This is the second time I have had issues with devices that store Data. Is this something going on with Bomb Scanning equipment or just a fluke accident?

So many characters in this bundle. We gave these to my nephew and individually wrapped all of them. I was worried he was going to have a stroke. He was so excited for these! The game is pretty fun too. Even for a 28 year old man. No shame. Played it all Christmas afternoon. Great way to get into the game if the massive price isn't a problem. This is probably funding a new ride at Disneyland.
