This book did not discuss what common books tell almost every 50 year-old men and women which is how to make much money. “Exercise and Fitness” focused on how to keep ourselves healthy, active and fit despite of our age, which I think is more important. If you are over 50 and finding ways to start having a healthy routine, this book is for you. Learn modest exercises and effective strategies that are easy-to-do and are just right for you.
The book emphasizes that you become what you eat just as you become what you think most of the time. It underlines the importance of exercise in daily living and shows you how to exercise without having to go to a gym. It is important to make your exercising enjoyable and you would look forward to doing it. The author suggests dancing, swimming, walking, and, if you like games, you would enjoy your exercise even more. Moreover, the book sets out what you should do in simple to follow steps, tells you when you need light exercise and when you need heavy exercise. If you are over 50, this is a book worth having. This book helped me to remind my parents to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle.
Since I am still young, it also suits me because I can find the most appropriate
way to exercise and maintain a fit body. If our health is at its best, we can then
do anything we want, especially achieving our goals in life. Having a healthy
and positive attitude will result in a better health. Another fun and bonding time
is cooking and doing exercise together with a partner or a group. In that way,
working out will not be boring because you have company. It may be better if the
book focuses more on how elderly people will become
motivated to exercise and stay active because working out is a commitment.
It should also state what are those food that will be appropriate to eat
and what are those to avoid especially for the the elderly since eating healthy
and working out come together.
