While I did receive a copy of this book to review via BookSprout, I also had purchased this book and am voluntarily leaving my voluntary opinion & review.

Thought about the writing and layout of the book: The book over all was a great read. The errors were a lot less in this book than they were in the ones before. I still love the fact that from the being I am hooked and could not put the book down until I was done.
What I liked: The story as a book over all was great and like I said the author did a great job tell the story at hand. I am a hockey fan and this just pulled me right in from the start and could not stop reading it.
What I didn’t like: The only thing I did not like was that instead of looking deeper into the background and future of the charters that the author had already wrote about, she adds in new charters and drops the bomb that four of her other charters had broken up without knowing why. As a reader, I find that leaving this information out could be a big turn away.
Would I recommend: Yes, I would!
Zach is a new player for the Newport Beach Gulls, a hockey team that is struggling after their owner was murdered and his granddaughter , Seraphina, took over the team. Sera knows she needs to make changes and one of those is employing a blogger to get positive press for the team. Harper is a big fan of the team but still is able to be honest in her articles. Zach and Harper had amazing chemistry. This story was fast paced and I finished it in a couple hours.
I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series!!!
This was a very enjoyable read, with a good cast of characters. I admired their strength and integrity, their ability to see each other for what they were, giving themselves the chance to dig deeper to make up their own minds and not being swayed by rumor. This is my first ever read from this author, and I definitely look forward to reading more of her stories!

The writing and storyline of this book had me hooked, I read it in one sitting! Harper is an amazing female protagonist, who doesn’t let a man take over her life. Work is important too!! And Zach is a dreamy athlete!
My only issue is that I wanted more!! I’m an epilogue lover, so I just wanted a cute flash forward!
This was my first time reading from this author, and I will definitely be reading more!
I liked the premise of the story. The characters are likeable. I just feel the book could gave done with a bit more proofreading to help with the continuity between scenes and chapters - discrepancies such as how long she was out of a relationship with her ex; days of the week; clothing in scenes....
I've always loved Heather's writing style, but the way that this is writing is beautiful. It is so beautifully written with the way we get to know each of the characters and their drives.
I absolutely loved it, and I can't wait to read more in this series.
