Editorial Reviews
2016 release. Just a year-and-a-half after Thousand Foot Krutch landed their second consecutive Hard Rock #1 and Billboard Top 10 album with the understated experiment Oxygen: Inhale, the adrenaline-doused rockers are back to the aggressive side of the dial with the entirely new companion collection Exhale. Not only is the experience loaded with arena-shaking anthems and bellowing battle cries at every self-assured turn, but the lyrics are some of the boldest and most uncompromising in the group history.

That being said, TFK is back in full throttle with Exhale baby!! xD :D
A lot of the tracks on here are now some of my all-time favorites by the group and I can only foresee their music getting even better! Plus, I even got to see them play 2 of the tracks live in concert during their Denver tour, and it was one of the best nights ever being able to sing at the top of my voice along with them (Despite losing my voice for the remainder of the night, lol).
A few NOTE-able favorites of mine on here are Adrenaline, Push, Incomplete, Give up the Ghost, and A Different Kind of Dynamite, all of which I can't help but sing along with, headbang or rock out on an air guitar with (Though I've been meaning to learn how to actually play electric for some time, hahaha!)
I love the confidence, poise and aggressive attitude that they put forth in this album, stating where/why they stand for Jesus, and how the devil CANNOT mess with them, and it inspires me to be just as BOLD AND COURAGEOUS for my messiah, just as they are and continue to be!
I especially love the line from A Different Kind of Dynamite: "... I'm running with giants and no safeties, you can call me crazy but keep hatin' it don't phase me! Bring it on! Your whole empire versus my Messiah! Facing different types of Goliaths, takin' it higher!"
What more can I say?!? THIS ALBUM ROCKS!!! :D B-)
The people that are leaving reviews & are saying that this album is like the "old" TFK clearly do not listen to music the way that I do. Yes, I'll once again happily admit that this album has a much more driving sound than that Inhale, but it still has that 80's rock sound that I'm just not a fan of. I'll also say that the lyrics of this album are good ones, but they're just not put to the sounds that I prefer from TFK.
To summarize, if you like/loved Oxygen, then you'll most likely like this album too even though it is a little more hard rock to it. If you like hard 80's rock music, then you'll love this album. But if you're looking for the same sound that came from Masquerade, The End, The Remixes or Phenomenon then I'd encourage you to look elsewhere, because this album does not have that same sound. I was so hoping that this Exhale would be a return to that sound, but alas it seems that TFK is set on putting out the 80's hard rock style... which for me is a disappointment.
I basically got the feeling that, like, say, Kiss, albums don't interest me but I'd be the first to buy a greatest hits or anthology.
TFK stirs the pot with Exhale, and have created an entirely solid album once again. After albums that struck me as mostly filler with a couple of standout tracks, Exhale sounds like they really tried this time. The guitar riffs are back, not just power chords, and the style moves around enough from song to song to prevent things from blending into one long song.
It's nice to see them in top form once again.

Die frühen Alben Set It Off und Phenomenon gehören definitiv zu ihren besten, doch 2012 haute mich The End Is Where We Begin noch einmal um.

It sits on repeat in my car, I can't stop this and never it gets boring while I drive.
