We've purchased a lot of random whimsical things for our yard of the years as they all usually have sun faded out at the end of the season and need replaced. This adorable flamingo is hands down one of my favorite yard art purchases of all time! The quality is superior, it is twice as cute in person as it is in the pictures, and its assembly (if you can even call it that it was so easy) took all of 1 minute. It charges up during the day and stays glowing all night long. The one and only minor thing is that the light only glows in the body of the flamingo not his neck.. this isn't an issue for us because it sits in line with a spotlight we have under one of our trees so it takes care of that but just a heads up if you're considering purchasing. Bottom line... EXCELLENT product, HIGHLY recommend!!

Beautiful glass and stand, but...

I bought this when I broke a similar one that I had used for years, so I can't help but compare. The flamingo is smaller than my previous. The quality of the figurine if very nice. The previous had an external solar panel and was brighter and lasted longer with less sunlight. The internal solar collection has allowed this one to have a more attractive stand and the whole piece is a work of art. On looks alone I would rate it five stars. I placed this in a large pot. When I went to move the pot out of freezing weather, the action caused the flamingo to snap off the stand. It is attached directly to the plastic electronics housing that broke open, making it unrepairable.

Attractive but defective

This is very attractive, but I'm returning it because the rooster was not mounted straight. The rooster definitely leans to the side and it's very obvious. Since it's mounted onto the top of the solar unit I didn't want to try to straighten it out.
I don't think I'll take a chance and reorder.
