I don't understand all the 5star reviews, unless they are... Anyway, this is fairly well done, technology wise (but frame composition suffered), but it's just procedural, rote, now this, now that, which isn't enough. If they only ever planned to do this many teams in this little time, then totally bad planning; they knew it would never be a complete story. Very poor story telling. Next time, give the kids more time to tell the story! If this was a test of adverse production constraints, then don't put it on Amazon.
I watched this because I have friends who live in Kenai and I know how gorgeous it is, but every shot seemed the same, like it was almost on the same day. Perhaps the weather contributed, but come on. You can tell it's amateur hour. Kudos to the racers, who deserved so much more than this document. Too bad their stories weren't told. I don't need reality show type personal drama, but just a teenie bit of background would have been nice. I didn't care by the end who won and wasn't even sure of the makeup of the teams or anything. So if you aren't a racer and don't know these people, then you are out of luck.
