About the Author
My writing, I hope reaches out and touches someone's life, that will help them through the hard times, or make them smile, laugh and be curious to see my next writing. I write poetry from the heart, life experiences and what I am thinking at the moment to random thoughts and expressions. I started writing poetry and always loved poetry when I was young but through the years of being married, raising a family and moving around a lot I never had the time to commit to it until my youngest son was born and my marriage was starting to fall apart is when I came back to writing. My personal interest are; writing poetry, researching, listening to a variety of music, art and its history, philosophy, religions, cultures, and long walks.

There is nothing wrong with her poetry, but do NOT pick up this book when you are already having a bad day.
She writes with palpable anguish and pain and after her poems she adds a letter telling you how she thinks you should feel.
I read through this book quickly. I had no desire to linger and enjoy the words.
Perhaps it just was not to my taste.
The chapter I felt she did best was at the end where she dedicated poems to family members.
Each entry would have made a wonderful greeting card.
Do not give up your dreams, and keep writing.
I will be reading another of your books and hoping I can connect better to the words.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
I have to say these are my true opinions.
Having now read three of Jeniann’s poetry books her words flow with ease off the tongue and mind. Through her poems she expresses so eloquently and honestly the love and compassion she has for life and all things in it as well as the cruelty she see’s in a sometimes dark world. Her inner strength shines through as each poem unfolds as well as her desires and weaknesses. There is also a playfulness in her words heard through the love she feels for her children.
Expressions and Letters along with Jeniann’s other poetry are a collection of remarkable poetry that is in a single word honest.
