The Extech MN10 Digital Multimeter is a quality, cost efficient solution that will meet most of your digital multimeter needs. The manual-ranging MN10 was designed for indoor household use and is the perfect tool for testing outlets and appliances. This compact DMM features a hard plastic housing for durability; standard banana plugs for interchangeable test leads; a 2000 count display with large, easy to view digits; and a data hold function that will freeze a measurement on the display for reference.
The MN10 is really two devices in one, benefiting from a built-in non-contact voltage detector (NCV). An NCV detector allows the user to quickly and safely detect live wires without the use of test leads. The MN10 automatically emits a red LED light when voltage is detected.

I immediately threw the leads away and replaced them as a simple continuity check showed the leads were weak.
It is very slow to read any type of measurement, I attempted to use it in the hvac field as it is a bit more compact than my Fluke but you have to check and recheck anything you do.
