Hang an umbrella upside down from your chandelier. Place paper towels on top of the umbrella to catch drips. Make sure that your light fixture is off and cool to the touch. Spray this product from top (sometimes the chain is grimy) to the bottom and go all around and try spraying from different angles to cover the entire fixture.
NO WIPING NECESSARY!
Let is dry. Throw out paper towels and put away your umbrella.
Your chandelier will sparkle like never before.
I just moved into a 150-year old house that hasn't been well-cleaned in decades. It has 3 beautiful vintage chandeliers that were covered in greasy, caked on layers of dust. I was really dreading cleaning them. I bought this stuff on Amazon as a procrastination technique: "Oh, I can't tackle them until the special cleaner gets here."
Well, this worked wonders. I sprayed it on paper towels, and wiped away everything very easily. All 3 chandeliers took me less than an hour. BUT after the first chandelier, I realized that I needed to put on some latex gloves because my hands started to get itchy and rashy. And I'm glad I did: because my gloves were weird and discolored after I was done, and I'm certainly glad it wasn't on my hands.
I'm used to using all-natural products (Method, Seventh Generation, etc.) so this definitely smelled very toxic to me. I found myself getting a little lightheaded and had to open a window. As far as "drip and dry" goes, I wouldn't try it without carefully covering up your floors, isolating pets and children out of the room, and washing the floors immediately after. This is not something you want hanging around your house. I would be very concerned if my animals licked it up.
10 years grime (possibly up to 30!) Perhaps I should have given it five stars. :-)

Didn't clean as well as I had hoped, ended up taking apart the chandelier anyway. Might be good for regular once a month cleanings, but not heavy dirt.Published 17 days ago by Kristine Debish

Did not remove any of the dirt or dust.
Actually made the chandeliers even dirtier!!!
I got this to see if it would clean outdoor string light bulbs. I understand that is not what it is for, and it did not work for what I wanted.Published 2 months ago by dogmom
