This system allowed us to mount a box on the wall where presenters could easily connect their HDMI source (and have an ethernet connection for their Internet - again, wifi interference/bandwidth concerns). The POE capability means we don't have to worry about power on the gym floor, and the form factor made the termination a breeze.
Performance is incredible - we've tested for 4-6 hour sessions into a 75" IFP and have had no noticeable issues and fully expect that when the large display is installed next week, we'll have the same exceptional results.

We're installing a large video display in our HS gym and while there's a media server to be used for the video for athletic events, we also wanted to be able to use the display for any guest presenters. While wireless HDMI extenders could be an option, we were concerned about performance with all the wireless devices in the gym during large gatherings and thought the hardwired solution was best.
