I connected a ptz camera for streaming church services. The camera came with a long USB cord. To put the laptop in a convenient spot, I tried a regular usb extension cord. This did not work. Since some devices are picky about usb 2.0 vs. 3.0, I bought both a VCZHS USB 3.0 Extension Cable and a VCZHS USB 2.0 Extension Cable. I put both in series with each other to connect a camera through a usb hub on my desk to a laptop. (If the signal can pass through both, then either could work for that camera). The signal made it through this combination, so I tried the 3.0 cable with the camera at church. It works great. Now the laptop is in a convenient place and the streaming is rock solid.

My PC and living room TV are in separate rooms, so I needed to extend the range of my Bluetooth receiver and wireless keyboard receiver for gaming and HTPC purposes. I combined this cord with a 4 port USB 3.0 hub and everything has worked perfectly so far. The Bluetooth receiver is used to connect an XBOX controller to the PC for gaming purposes and I haven't experienced any issues with latency or connectivity. The wireless keyboard is working great as well for general control of the PC.

The cord has a solid construction and comes neatly rolled up. It unrolls flat and is easy to maneuver around corners. I can't speak as to how well this will work when it comes to file transfer speeds or charging devices since I'm not using it for that purpose. I would highly recommend this product if you intend to use it for the applications listed above.

Stretches the limits of USB effective data exchange ("NOT a good thing")

I bought this cable to extend the distance over which a webcam could send a signal to my computer.

Because the length of this cable is right at (or slightly EXCEEDS) the physical length limitation for USB signal transmission, the signal from the camera is "scratchy" and the image is less-than-clear-and-stable. I gave this cable a 4-star rating because it is well-made, durable, and does transmit a signal. But it does have clear limits as to the quality of that signal when it arrives at the computer.

Plugged directly into the USB 3 port, the webcam works perfectly; when this cable is used to extend that connection, the signal is quite noticeably compromised.

My suggestion -- if you have to exceed a distance of ten feet or so between your USB device and your computer, get a system that amplifies the signal or a more heavily-shielded (and, of course, more expensive) cable!

Wifi Signal Transfer Works! RV has Wifi!

I love this! I paired it with a USB to USB Micro B Cable to carry the wifi signal from my new TP Link Dual Band Wifi Adapter from the front to the back of my converted RV! The signal is as good as it was when I used the short cable the Wifi Adapter came with, I don't seem to have any data or signal loss, or if i do it's VERY minimal and normal. I can stream Netflix and have a video call at the same time with no more problems than if I were sitting on top of the router. I am VERY happy with this purchase, I can now have internet at any location in my RV, despite the metal, as long as it's plugged in to the wire. Thank you!

This works great. I connect a standard 9ft usb3 to it for a total of 34ft. Make sure you plug the active cable into a power source (it has a blue light to show it is active).
My primary use is for a high frame rate astro camera. Results are zero frame drops from cable, full resolution images without any interference or loss of signal. A lot more affordable then other solutions.

I am a public school teacher and during the pandemic, I've been teaching virtually and hybrid (some students at home and some at school) and I needed a way to position a webcam and Yeti microphone away from computer so that I could demonstrate labs and activities to the students at home. This works like a dream. I can move my webcam/microphone 18 ft away from my computer and the students at home can see me and hear me with no distortion at all. I have paired it with a four hub USB strip and have used this with two cameras and a Yeti microphone at the same time with no problems. After several of my colleagues saw mine, they purchased ones for themselves.

Worked fine connecting a camera (with its own battery) to PC.
With this length you could easily get power problems with whatever is at the end of the cable hence always best to either use a short cable or provide power at the remote end in order to avoid problems.
Hence, if you intend to use this/any long cable with a memory stick / etc., best to use a powered hub (/ device) at the far end.
However, as stated, worked fine with a powered camera to laptop (long online meeting).
Being white, doesn't stand out against the (white) skirting board. Would buy again if need arises.
