I was unprepared and pleasantly surprised by the deep content. Stacey (the author) made me feel like I was in the story with her amazing writing, descriptions and character development. I just finished the book and I'm already ready to read it again! It's just that good and I don't want it to be over! You will be so glad you chose this book!

The first few pages I found myself tensed up so into the story! I knew just from that it was going to be a good story but I didn't know it was going to be "that good"! I laughed and cried....i actually boo hoo' d like a baby, just like the first time I saw "The Notebook". This is the third Stacey Grice book I have read and cannot wait for more. She has a way of making it so real. Real people, raw emotion and tough subject matter. I want more of this!

Dr. Andie Fine and Vaughn Bennett have a second-chance meeting after 24 years and his obsession with her eyes (when she stayed with him after being beaten by some bullies) has stayed with him over the years. A heartfelt story about forgiveness, second-chance meetings, and the power of love under the most horrible circumstances… This is a story that is hard to read in places, but so worth it in the end.

The characters are so relatable that you feel all the emotions with them throughout their journey. Beautifully written with no smut since it's not the main objective for you to focus on.
