About the Author
Dave Gladow is a web sports producer at NOLA.com and also a fan (often a dirty word in the business) of his alma mater, Kansas State University. He has had his work published with NOLA.com as well as on NFL.com, on CBSsports.com, and in The Miami Herald. He lives in New Orleans with his wife, Cait, and daughter, Olivia (with two stampeding collies to boot). Eyeblack Odyssey is his first book.

Even if you don't really care for college football, you will still find this book extremely interesting. The author, Mr. Gladow, goes into tremendous detail of the adventures of traveling to each game and how much of a struggle it can be. These stories are what make the book, and with his comedic touch, make the book almost impossible to put down.
Personally, I am much anticipating Mr. Gladow's next project. I was even doing a little bit of research and came across a book that was written by his mother, titled "A Journey of Voices: Chasing the Frontier." Even though it is a completely different genre (more for the history buffs), it was a tremendous book as well. I am truly impressed by this family of authors and cannot wait for their next books!
