That being said....I do have a few problems with this series, hence the 4 stars:
1st: I am not a "mommy" & I will never be one. This is a workout for women, but the instructor is CONSTANTLY saying things like "We are strong mommies" "Come on mommies, you can do it" "I know you can do it because you are tough moms"
needless to say it gets annoying. She could have easily said "We are strong women". I know its not a huge deal, just a little annoying.
2nd:It says there are 28 workouts. Technically, yes. However, the 4 "yoga" style dvds are hardly a workout. They are barley a stretch. I'm sorry but they were just awful. I skip those.
So that leaves 24 workouts. There are 4 sets of 6 workouts. Upper body, lower body, barre, cardio, core, & total body. The 1st 3 sets are great. Lots of variety. However I just finished the 4th set & I was pretty bummed. The dvds in the 4th set are made up of splices from the 1st 3 sets of workouts. So there is weird editing, & I find that moves get repeated. Its like they didn't want to make a 4th set so they just randomly picked stuff and threw it together. So you still get 18 different workouts but still I was bummed. I thought it was such a great idea to have so many different workouts so that you didn't repeat anything(I get bored easily). So I feel a little lied to.
I've seen a lot of comments about "mommy" talk from the instructor. I haven't heard her mention it too much since starting the workouts; either that or I am so focused on getting through the moves that I just don't hear it, but it doesn't bother me a bit and I think it's great that she's trying to motivate new moms through the workouts. Losing weight after having a baby is not easy at all, so some extra motivation doesn't hurt.
Anyway, excited to see my results after 90 days. Thank you Fe Fit!!!
