Top Customer Reviews
Nothing much more to say about the game, it really is a great, very complete racing experience. Racing fans like myself should love this game. It's great to see such a deep racing experience on the 3DS, and I hope games like this keep on coming.
If you're hesitating between this and Need for Speed: The Run, I love them both; the difference is that NFS is a lot more arcade and its career mode is very silly at times, but it gets a lot better with all the challenges; as for this, this is much more of a simulation, although you can customize your controls with driving aids to choose controls that are more simulation-like or more arcade. The career mode is the exact opposite of silly, but the seriousness of it will not appeal to all. Overall, both NFS and F1 2011 are excellent racers if you take the time to explore what they have to offer and the deciding factor if you want one of the two will be how you want your racing experience. It's too bad those two games have been overlooked, and at this price, they're really good deals.
Best racing sim experience for the 3DS.
Long time loading for a hand held
Lack of stereo 3D Interface
Complicated user interface
I really gameplay, controls, multiplayer and challenges are all enjoyable!
I really recommend it!
Another sorely lacking feature is replays. No ability to rewatch exciting races or observe your driving at a distant in 3D. Even iPhone racers have replays now.
At least the 3D is good especially in cockpit or TV view. F1 2011 has a lot of potential to be great, but without music and replays, it is just decent.
