If it wasn't advertised as being good for pressing t-shirt transfers I would give it a better review. This might be good for small design applications but it isn't good for large designs on shirts for 2 reasons:
1. As shown in photos, the heat isn't consistent throughout the heat plate.
2. The temperature indicator is always 25-100 degrees higher than the actual temperature on the plate depending on where you measure the heat.

In the photos I set the heat press to 400F and got heat measurements from 275-380F.

CATCHES ON FIRE! Do Not Purchase This Heat Press!

As a business owner, I am often hesitant to write negative reviews BUT the customer should know what they are getting when they purchase this item. I tried to find a contact person first where I purchased but it is no longer available in my orders.

This heat press LITERALLY caught on fire.

So I purchased this item in summer of 2017 and have only used it about 10 times since I didn't have a designated space to set it up. Most of the time it was in the box until I planned enough shirts to press for the health club that I own. I had no prior experience to using a press so the price seemed right in case it was one of those ideas I had that I would go at 100% and then grow bored of doing or I just wasn't very good at making shirts. Such is true that the plates do not heat evenly as in other reviews thus the vinyl peels from the shirt especially after washing. I watched videos and thought maybe it was me but I use brand name vinyl that under normal circumstances shouldn't peel at all. While I am happy to learn that it isn't actually me, I am beyond disappointed that all the time and money wasted was because of this product.

After the third time of use, the wired connection to the plate had a burning smell coming from the wired connection. Although I wasn't certain then, I thought perhaps it was just something that a new machine did. I know, kind of a ridiculous thought but what did I know at the time. The directions included are nil. Being that it was past the point of refund or return, I kept using it because I didn't want to invest in a new one and ethically, I could not sell this to anyone else.

Fast forward to last night:

Turned on the press, weeded my vinyl, and the kids were yelling to me that the heat press was on FIRE!?! Again, its the faulty wire connection...in FLAMES :( Fortunately, we caught it in time that it did not do any damage to the house. I should note that my house burned down as a kid and I am probably over cautious and sensitive when it comes to things of that nature particularly.

Very disappointed in this product. With the addition of $200 wasted (amount of purchase + shipping), I now do not have a heat press to make shirts.

HORRIBLE! BE CAREFUL CAN START A FIRE!

This is a worst heat press ever and the customer service is horrendous. They take forever to get back to you and then send you a "picture" of a return label that is blurry and can't print out so I have no way of returning this faulty machine. This heat press was fine for the first few months and then the temperature starting rising on it's own like it was possessed. We smelled burning and some of the cords starting melting. I contacted the seller and he said he was pretty sure he knew what it was (really?) and he wanted to send me a part so I would replace it MYSELF. No way.....this is an unsafe machine. BUYER BEWARE!

I have been working with F2C customer service since the beginning. They sent me a replacement after asking for multiple videos and pictures wasting a lot of time and materials. I purchased a heat test kit to prove my point. They kept asking me to wait patiently. I did for a while then said no. They sent me a new machine - it did not work either. Now they want to send me parts to repair. This has never worked! They will not refund because it has been to long while I "patiently waited." I have wasted my time and money. I have not made one successful t-shirt.

Temperature not accurate

I bought this for pressing vinyl. I always wondered why, on the appropriate heat setting, my vinyl would not stick. I finally got a heat gun and used it. The temperature was 100 degrees off. The tightening knob is also getting harder to use with time. This much money for a product that’s temperature isn’t accurate is ridiculous. That can and has ruined multiple projects: t-shirts, at least a hundred dollars in vinyl, etc. I planned on earning my money back from this purchase, but instead I haven’t been able to even start a business selling any products because they would never adhere correctly. I have tried so many things and finally decided it had to be the heat press.

The heat press did not heat up when it arrived, I sent video to the company to let them know, they advised that I check the fuse on the press. Once I had opened up the back plate I realized there was a wire hanging from the terminal that wasn't connected. I replaced the crimp connector and reconnected it and the press started heating up. I agree with other reviews that the temp gauge isn't accurate.

Also if they could drill bolt holes in the base to allow easy mounting of the unit that would help as sometimes I lift the handle and the entire machine comes up off the table rather than opening.
