I know, I know, $55 just to plant some herbs indoors? Well, THESE are worth it! High quality cedar boxes in a tray, along with all other accessories to have an indoor herb garden. I love the distressed look on the cedar and the cedar smell makes it even more rustic. I'm glad I didn't settle for some cardboard egg-crate planter! I can't wait for my herbs to grow. Thanks for such a wonderful product!

I love this kit! The box is beautiful and just the look I was going for. And the chalk pen was really easy to write with. I planted cilantro, basil, and thyme (I used my own seeds because I have a brand I really like) and they have all sprouted. Every other day I make sure to take the boxes out because water does build up in the tray, but this would happen with any set up, and the wood is really resistant to the water.

I bought this to grow herbs in doors and while it’s nice looking isn’t worth it. The wood boxes retain the moisture and never dries out completely which ends up growing mold on the soil. Even after repotting the herbs and adding less water they still grow mold. I would recommend anyone looking to grow herbs at home to just buy a few plastic potters at Home Depot. They are an eighth of the price and won’t result in mold.

Cute and contained everything it said it did, but the chives didn’t sprout at all and the thyme and oregano sprouted and then never grew. It was in the same location as another planter from another company where 2/3 seeds grew gangbusters so it’s either the seeds or the soil.
