A set of these books should be presented to and studied by every high school student. A shocking exposure of tyranny right here at home. The very true history of the shredding of our Bill of Rights in the name of "Cold War". Anyone interested today in the Snowden revelations and Wikileaks should read these documents - they show that the shocking revelations made today are an extension of a long history of spying, authoritarianism, and dirty tricks.

great book, a compilation of documents proving that JFK and LBJ went after Dr. King, tried to discredit him. Since he was not a Democrat he was a threat to Washington Democratic leaders. They used to FBI to wiretap him, try to discredit him, and just like the IRS is doing now; they tried to reduce contributions to the SCLS (southern christian leadership conference) to weaken that. Asst. Director of the FBI Sullivan actually said they had a "negro leader" picked out to replace King. Unbelievable. Dr. King should have been the first black President. But since he was a threat to Dems, he was trashed and eventually murdered.

Intensely interesting, especially if one is gullible enough to believe most of what our government tells us. Keenly illustrates the danger that one person in charge of a giant federal organization, with an ego and a bigoted penchant towards destroying the lives of Americans, can inflict on individuals and a nation.
Contains facts and figures...... people, places and things from the 60s, and subsequent information taken from actual manuscripts of government commitees appointed to investigate personal attacks, wiretaps, stalking, and other illegal methods used to discredit and decimate the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King. Amazing read!!!!
