OPEN SECRET
In this game, 280 characters can destroy a nation…
Avery Goodyear knew she was out of her depth when her boss insisted she edits a sci-fi novel based on a controversial new video game. But Avery never thought the job would drag her into an international game of psychological warfare. Now she has a handsome FBI agent on her doorstep, and he expects her to help him catch terrorists. Things like this are not supposed to happen to romance editors from the suburbs…
Ex-Army Ranger Rowan Kennedy is on a mission. It’s up to him to bring down the terrorists who are using social media and video games as recruitment tools. Romance is nowhere on his agenda. Then he meets his lovely new asset and everything changes. His attraction to Avery is as untimely as it is unprofessional. But that won’t stop him from doing everything in his power to keep her safe…and to make her his.
Enemies are circling. The stakes are high. And if Avery and Rowan can’t stop the game in time, the terrorists might just stop them—permanently…
COLD RED
They might survive the madmen trailing their every move…if the elements don’t kill them first…
Getting arrested was not part of Anna’s mission. Neither was the crash that left her stranded on a mountain road with an injured FBI agent. Now, Anna will have to rely on her special forces training to survive the terrorists who want them dead and the unforgiving winter storm—all while maintaining her cover and trying not to fall for the man she’s honor-bound to protect. The man who has no idea who she really is…
It was supposed to be a simple prisoner transport. Steve never thought he’d end up having to trust an enemy with his life. But…here he is. And the truly scary part? Anna doesn’t feel like his enemy. She feels like his redemption. His forever. He can only hope he’ll live long enough to claim her.
With a brutal storm looming and enemies closing in, Anna and Steve will have to figure out how to trust each other and work together. Otherwise, they won’t stand a chance of making it out with their heads (and hearts) intact…
EVEN ODDS
If she’s not careful, she’ll lose more than her heart on this mission…
Someone wants the men of Delta Force out of the way. Permanently. Defense intelligence officer Raine Meyers will do whatever it takes to neutralize the threat. But the job would be a lot simpler if she didn’t have to go undercover with her ex-fiancé—the only man she’s ever loved. The man she pushed out of her life seven years ago…
FBI special agent Damian Prescott lost Raine once. It’s not a mistake he plans to repeat. So, he’ll help her take down the terrorist threat against Delta Force, and keep her safe in the process. Then he’ll do everything he can to turn their fake, undercover relationship into a real one. The kind that ends in happily ever after…
They’re outmanned and outgunned. Can Raine and Damian stay alive long enough to complete the mission and grab their second chance at love? Maybe. But their odds are far from even…

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Action, Suspense, and Romance Stories
Open Secret
This is a good book with twits and turns. It lost me at times talking about IT items. But it was interesting. I loved Avery's personality and how she tried to help, others. Her friend Lola was so much fun and funny. I loved the pranks she did to the priest at confession. That had me laughing. Avery's mother had me laughing at times too. I know she had a medical problem that made her act the way she did, but sometimes you you have to laugh so you don't cry. Avery is a romance editor and her boss is awful. I can understand while she was confused when he made her edit a book that was borderline illegal and not in her genre. It was so interesting how Rowan, and FBI agent, and Avery met. I was glad he was around to protect her. There are Russians trying to do terrible things to the US. The means they were using were so different t from anything I had heard. I loved the suspense in the book. I strongly encourage you to read it.
Cold Red
Anna is undercover working as Zelda when she is taken into custody along with another member of the group she is undercover. As they are taken over the mountains of West Virginia, they fly off the mountain and her cohort is killed as well as one of the FBI agents. Luckily Anna is a survivor and has many skills. I loved all the things she did to keep herself and Agent Finley alive. I felt so bad that Finley had his head hurt to the extent he could hardly walk with his eyes open. Anna and Finely have to take off in a bad snowstorm in the woods to try and get away from the people who want to kill them. It was so exciting reading all the different scenarios they had to go through to survive in the wilderness. I wondered if they got closer because of what they were going through and if it would hold up in a normal situation. It is an exciting book that I strongly encourage you to read the book.
Even Odds
This book was just as good as the others. I can't imagine what Raine and Damian went through in their military careers. Raine went through a traumatic situation when she was held captive. Unfortunately that was the end of Raine and Damian's relationship for seven years. I was impressed how well Raine adjusted after her capture. It was amazing how many people she had pretended to be under cover. I felt bad that Damian still loved her and had to keep his emotions under wraps. I loved that the two were thrown together on a mission. They both went through some scary situations that had me on edge. I loved the story and strongly encourage you to read the book.

In spite of the amount of time I spend reading books, I’m totally a movie girl when it comes to imagery. And in that vein, this story felt like an unholy cross between Live Free or Die Hard and there were some moments that I felt were channelling The Purge. Now these are not two movies I’ve ever thought of in the same sentence before, but they have the right concepts to match the terror-inducing plot the author has created with this book. The reason I find it so terror inducing? I can’t prove that any of this isn’t happening at this very moment. I’m going to go put on my tinfoil hat now and find a small, lead-lined casket for my cell phone… Or maybe a large one to hold all my electronic devices.
Cold Red
I Initially came to this book with no prior experience in the world of Iniquus, so I wasn’t carrying any baggage about Finley’s previous bad behaviour. I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for an author to redeem a character the way it sounds like Finley needed to be. Now that it’s over, I need the next book NOW! I also need to go back and read the whole rest of the series that came before. This story stands perfectly well on its own with just enough teasers about the other stories to make my one-click finger itchy.
Even Odds
I have no words for where this story took me. I am in awe of the author’s ability with the written word and an abstract concept. It’s a daring thrill-ride that I pray is pure fiction, but terrifies me with how very possible it is. In a world that seems hell-bent on tearing people apart, I love reading about lovers being reunited. And Damian and Raine are a pair that more than deserved a second chance. Ever since I first met him, there was just something so compelling about the enigmatic Special Agent in Charge that made me rather desperate to know more about Damian. Raine is his perfect partner in every way. When talking about Raine, I feel the need to borrow an Old Hollywood analogy about Fred & Ginger: sure he was great, but don't forget that she did everything he did, ...backwards and in high heels. This sentiment, to me, perfectly captures who Raine is and why she is so amazing at her job. I hate that the book is over already because I am nowhere near done with these characters. I need the next book NOW!

I have really enjoyed all of the Iniquus stories, and they keep getting better. I wish that this series would have expanded more on the relationship side of the stories, instead of cutting the stories right after they finally get together. JMO!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
