"Very happy with this product. The pot is very durable, especially compared to the more common clay/ceramic pots. I purchased several different planters (pots) with stands at the same time I ordered from Fox &Fern. Sadly (this is true) just over half were accidently broken after a very short time. Granted, the other manufacturers' pots and stands didn't break themselves (if left alone, I'm certain they would still be intact). However, I have a small puppy that is definitely of the extremely curious and energetic type. She still weighs less than 3 lbs, but can create an impressive mess within a second or two. Jumping to grab small mouthfuls of the lowest parts of the plants, she was able to knock over my new plant stands, sending the pots tumbling and uprooting the plants. The pots were in pieces - mixed with potting soil and pieces of plants along with their roots. This was a mess that could be cleaned, but nothing was getting salvaged. However! My Fox & Fern was standing upright next to all the plant, dirt, and pieces of broken pottery. The Fox & Fern pot and stand were unscathed, although the plant they held didn't fair as well (it looked as if a puppy had made a plaything of it). To my point: the stand is sturdy (and still adjustable!) and well-balanced. My very strong, but very little puppy was unable to pull it to the ground. The pot stood in its stand just as it had before the incident, unharmed. To note: I don't believe the pot would have cracked let alone shattered if it had fallen with the others. It's made of a material that is strong, light, and actually really nice looking. The whole ensemble has a very clean design, simple and refined. It won't detract from the beautiful of the plants it holds (conversely, it seems to make less attractive plants look less so). And again, it's made well! It can handle the bumps, bangs, and tugs that are inevitable in life -without falling to pieces. YAY!"

QUALITY like you rarely see these days
Of all things to be so excited about, it's this plant stand. I ordered the pot in the picture I've provided, which came with a plant stand that was so cheap, I swear it was made of balsa wood. It was delivered broken to boot. While searching for a quality replacement plant stand, I came across Fox & Fern. These days you never know what to expect, and having low expectations generally leads to a happier life of less disappointment. When I opened the box from Amazon, there was a crisp, beautifully designed box which immediately raised my expectations for what might lie within. Upon opening it, I was utterly shocked by the consistency of the packing material: a foam pad with a black note embossed with gold. Removing the black foam, I found a PERFECT plant stand, nice, even finish, smooth wood, properly measured, and ready to adjust to the right size to accommodate my planter. I slid the two pieces together, grabbed my pot, adjusted the size to fit, then used the screw and phillips head allen wrench to secure the two pieces together. Even the plant stand had the Fox & Fern logo stamped in gold on it, but it is hidden when you slide the two pieces together. Perfection. I can't remember the last time I ordered and received such a quality piece of merchandise with beautiful packaging. I mean I can, but this plant stand is right up there with Hermes, Chanel, Dior...which is just mind-blowing. Hallelujah! A company that cares to make a positive impression, even if it's not selling designer handbags and shoes! They will be my go-to for pots and stands from here on out. Highly recommend! I swear I have no stake in this company, it's just such a rare experience these days, I had to gush!

When looking for a pot and plant stand I wanted something affordable but high quality. Upon opening the package when it arrived I loved the mindful welcoming note from fox&fern. The assembly of the stand was easy, simple, and quick - they give the hardware needed to put it together which was awesome. The wood is study, and the quality is high end. The best part with the adjustable stand is when I re-pot my plants, in fox&fern pots of course, the stand will adjust to the new pot! I debated ordering plant stands from west elm because a friend had them, but I am thrilled with my choice to go with fox&fern. The plant stand offers a natural healthy look to my plants while keeping the main focus on the foliage. Overall, I absolutely love my fox&fern stands. (I ordered 2 stands with fitting pots & a pot with a wood base) I will continue to order from fox&fern for all my plant potting needs. Did I mention I also ordered the wood base pot? It looks great with my plants in the plant stands and offers a contrast in the sizing of the plants. My favorite part is that the plants are not just sitting on the ground.
