Nice tool for advanced swimmer and novice alike, as long as you like dolphin kick (I do !).
I use it for usual training with kickboard and for underwater swimming. Techniques can be learnt by watching videos, - a lot of them on Youtube.
It's not as effective as large "serious" monofins, but smaller size is an advantage in congested lanes of public pools, - you will not hurt anyone. Also easy to carry, it fits into medium size backpack. I took it on some of my trips.
It seems there is a lot of confusion over sizes. I recommend to try before you buy or to request exact dimensions from a seller( I did the latter).
After about 2.5 years and over 350 sessions (including 20-30 in ocean water), rubber began to "give in". It became softer in heels areas and inside. There are some cracks as well.

Update:
After 3 years and 3 months sole part became wobbly and heel straps cracked, so I put it aside. May be it's repairable. Anyway, according to my Garmin Connect records, this monofin lasted for about 400 sessions. I used it only for part of a session, so hard to estimate total time/distance. Probably about 50 hours / 70 km. Not bad.
