All of these books seem to contradict each other. Just eat a healthy well balanced meal and exercise.
I am extremely confident in my support of Fire-Up Your Fat Burn because I have had the good fortune of finding Dr. Lori Shemek and am presently one of her clients for weight loss, life coaching and long-term optimal health. When I first started with Dr. Lori, I was at an all-time low frustration level and was very skeptical that I would ever conquer my lifetime weight problem.
I can personally attest to the fact that if you follow the course Dr. Lori sets forth in her book, you will find that not only can you obtain your weight loss goals, but you will be surprised at how easy it is. You will learn vital information about inflammation, hydration, sugar, exercise, and mindset. I've been under Dr. Lori's guidance for four months and can honestly say that I've never felt better in my life. I eat three meals a day, am never hungry, nor do I ever feel deprived. The weight and inches are falling off, and I feel good about myself because I have opted for a healthy lifestyle, not a quick-fix. I am still on the journey, but there is no doubt I will obtain my goals.
A little about the author... I am certain that the results of my success thus far are directly related to the genuinely warm, caring and compassionate person that is Dr. Lori Shemek. Dr. Lori is very soft-spoken, she listens intently, she motivates, she inspires, she offers words of wisdom/encouragement, and adds her sweet touch of humor as needed. It is no surprise to me that Dr. Lori would produce a book like Fire-Up Your Fat Burn and make it available at a very affordable price in order to share it with everyone. These wonderful qualities are evidenced in her book. Dr. Lori is a superb clinician and a wonderful person. Dr. Lori is "hope" for us all.
So, please do yourself a favor and consider opting to buy Dr. Lori's book, Fire-Up Your Far Burn, for permanent and healthy weight loss success. All you have to do is follow her direction.

All of a sudden my weight stopped decreasing at 258 and would not budge.
So over the next 10 months I tried several things:
* Calorie Counting
* Going the gym almost everyday
* Carb Cycling
* Intermitent fasting
* workouts DVD's
* Very Low Calorie Diets
* C25K ( running is still a very important part of my diet)
* Cheat Day Diets
None of these things worked long term. When I ran my first 5K in June I had actually ballooned to 266lbs. I was utterly confused. How could I be in the best shape of my life, but gaining weight?
I decided to try a diet I heard about called the Fat Smash Diet by Dr. Ian Smith His book really got me on the right track with the kind of foods I should be eating etc. My weight dropped back to a flat line weight of 252 by July. Here I was again stuck in limbo never quite able to get under 250 no matter how hard I tried the scale would range between 251 and 256.
In September I began chatting on twitter with a health author named Lori Shemek. After reading several of her tweets about not counting calories, no more dieting and short workouts I was intrigued.
I was so impressed with her tweets I purchased her book "Fire Up Your Fat Burn". This turned out to be really smart purchase. After following a few of the principles listed her book about inflammation, eating habits and exercise I was able to break the 250 mark the first time ever at 249.
Although I followed the book I kept my cheat days for all of September and first part of October which pushed my weight back up to 256.
On October 16th I decided to give the principles in this book one more shot without the cheat days. Since October 16th I have lost 9lbs and currently today I weigh 247. I haven't weighed less than 250lbs since 2001.
I have not given up my cheat days forever, but I have committed to giving them up for the next 90 days to see how much weight I can drop. Since reading her book I have found many resources that support her theories and I truly believe that this book will take me to my weight of 193 .
