* Great way to get a little exercise each day. (I probably go 4 to 8 miles a day.)
* Has casters on the bottom that make it easy to slide the bike to your desk and away when you want your regular chair. (You definitely need an adjustable desk to go with it.)
* It keeps track of the time and distance you peddle. It even pauses the time when you stop.
* I'm 6'3", and the height works for me, but I'd be nice if the seat went up another inch or two. (My knees don't extend as much as they do on my actual bicycle.)
Cons:
* Clunking - I'm on my 3rd one of these stationary bikes. The first two started getting a clunking sound in them after 200 to 300 miles. On the second one, along with the clunking sound, the tracking of mileage also stopped. Amazon / Flexispot were nice enough to replace them with a new one free of charge when they broke, so that is pretty good customer service. They even shipped the new bike before I sent back the old bike. (That way I could send the old one back in the new one's box.)
This third one has made it 1000 miles. It sounded like maybe the clunking was starting again around 200 miles are so. I wondered if the problem was that sometimes I like to peddle backwards. So I started making sure to only peddle forwards. The problem stopped, and the bike has now made it all the way to 1000 miles. Thus, I wonder if something comes loose inside due to peddling backwards.
The only two other problems I've had are:
1: The plastic lever for the seat height adjustment broke. I can still adjust it if I want to. It is kinda like a shorter handle with less leverage now. I'm the only one who uses it, so I don't really need to adjust it anyway.
2: The seat is quite uncomfortable. I even got an extra pad and it still isn't good. I find myself needing to get off it for a bit after about 45 min. If they sold a $400 one with a super deluxe comfy seat, I'd would have gotten that.
Overall, I'd get this one again if the one I'm using now broke. I'd be nice if there was an upgraded one that had: 1. a better seat, 2. An extra inch or two of seat height adjustment, and 3. A fix that allowed it to peddle backwards. Or even if I could buy a new seat, that'd be great.
(Again, I think it was peddling backwards that led to the clunking, but maybe it was just coincidence. Maybe flexispot can look into it for their next model.)

Overall Workout Function:
-Workout function is very good. Actual bike mechanism is very quiet and you can't hear it even if you are pedaling really hard. I would recommend only cycling at a medium pace at most due to stability which I will address in the next section.
Stability:
-I have a desk riser and type emails most of the day so it works pretty well for my type of work. If you are having to use your mouse a lot I would not recommend this product unless you can get this chair right under your desk. If you cannot, you will have a hard time clicking on things and pedaling at the same time. I have the seat at the max height and when I start pedaling, my seat will squeak and drives me and my coworkers nuts. Sometimes I am having to lean forward to write and the chair never makes me feel like i'm going to fall over. It is sturdy but squeaks like it may come apart.
Comfort:
-The seat itself is very uncomfortable. The padding and fabric is very cheap and after I've been sitting for a couple of hours, I can feel hard metal rubbing against my tailbone. The backrest is great and provides good stability if you can lean back and work at the same time.
Maneuverability:
-This thing slides around like a pallet of bricks on carpet. It is sometimes hard to push and then it frees up somewhere in the wheels and will roll. The most frustrating thing about the wheels is that when you are sitting on the chair, the thing will absolutely will not roll. You may think this is good but if you want to move yourself closer to your desk, you will have an extremely tough time doing so.
Build Quality:
-The base and cycling component are sturdy and of good quality. Everything else is dog-water. Like I mentioned before, the seat is cheap and uncomfortable and the electronic calorie counter is pretty basic and cheap looking. I haven't seen anywhere in the instructions where it suggests how to reset the calorie counter.
Recommendations:
-If you do not have a desk that rises so you can slide this chair all the way under it, this product is probably not for you. If you are looking to stay active at work and don't mind squeaking plastic and have no nerves in your butt then this thing is for you.
I ordered this after seeing something similar at a local furniture store. It came SO fast, which is a big deal considering I live in Alaska. It was also the simplest setup from anything I've ever had to put together, you could probably do it without reading the instructions (only hard part is one of the pedals is threaded backward so it's NOT lefty-loosey, righty-tighty. That was weird, but it is disclosed on the instructions.
I have used it every day this week, and I've been getting an average of 10mi per day, with my peak day being 17mi. My legs feel the workout and surprisingly, my sciatic pain has decreased noticeably, I'm sure just from staying in motion instead of just sitting in a chair all day. The backrest is VERY nice - when I take a break from pedaling or need to stretch, it adds a good feeling a stability.
I'm still getting used to the bike, but I've started setting daily mileage goals, which I know will be so impactful. I'm burning at lease 200 calories a day, and that adds up!
Only "con" is that it's hard to find a position that doesn't rub on the back of your thighs or butt. I have to reposition myself occasionally. Also, I have to be sure that while I'm still getting some movement, I can't work too hard or I'll be all sweaty at work, which is not cool.
JUST BUY IT - I'm so happy with this purchase.

Citicisms are that it is on wheels that dont lock, how stupid is that? (bought coasters to prevent it from sliding), the pedals should have straps and the display is completely useless because i cant see it.
