There are many outstanding writers with advanced degrees from elite universities. Marcus Lynn Dean is not one of them. His only advanced degree is a master’s from the school of hard knocks. Marcus honed his writing skills the old-fashioned way; by reading, writing, and writing some more. What he lacks in formal education, he more than makes up for with a love of learning, a keen eye for observation, and a vivid imagination. He mostly writes fiction of the recent past, the present, or the near-future. His writing blends genres and sub-genres, including science and speculative fiction, apocalyptic and dystopian fiction, some romance, and an occasional bit of fantasy thrown in for good measure.

When not exploring the alternate and future realities in his mind, Marcus enjoys exploring the great outdoors. His most fervent hope is that you enjoy the reading as much as he enjoys the writing.
