Infrared Cameras with MSX
Now you can afford the ultimate inspection tool. Gain the competitive advantage and take care of more customers. Blow them away with dramatic MSX thermal images that clearly reveal problems from sources of energy loss, moisture intrusion and structural issues to overheating electrical and mechanical equipment.
FLIR E4, E5, E6, and E8 infrared cameras are powerful and extremely cost-effective, easy-to-use troubleshooting tools for building, electrical, and mechanical applications. Four resolution options are available (ranging from 80 x 60 IR pixels to 320 x 240) to fit the target size, working distance, and detail you require. All include FLIR MSX technology that provides extraordinary thermal imaging detail. By providing thermal images to help you find hidden problems along with accurate temperature measurements, an Ex-Series camera is the ideal budget-friendly replacement for old-school IR thermometers.

What is MSX?
Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) embosses digital camera details onto thermal images in real time, producing exceptional thermal clarity. MSX highlights exactly where a problem is in a thermal image by showing numbers, letters, textures, and other details, eliminating the need to compare the thermal and digital images to pinpoint a problem. MSX ensures easier target identification without compromising radiometric data. With MSX, more anomalies can be detected, detailed analyses can be done, and conclusions can be drawn in a split second.
FLIR's MSX Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) adds key details from the onboard visible light camera to the entire infrared image in real time. Fine details such as numbers, labels, signage and structural features are captured for incredible focus, depth and precision.
Simple to use
A focus-free lens and simple button navigation to on-screen settings, imaging modes, measurement tools, and saved JPEGS make all four of these cameras amazingly easy to operate, even with just the press of a single gloved thumb.
Only FLIR can cover cameras like this, because we develop all of the camera’s critical components from the ground up. You'll receive 2 years of coverage on parts and labor, 5 years on the battery and 10 years on the detector – the most vital part of the whole camera!

This camera is the best bang for your buck on the market. The resolution is outstanding. The MXS technology works beautifully. The only real drawback is that there is only an internal memory. Not a huge deal, but it can be inconvenient at times.
