I am giving 4 stars because I haven't had to use them yet, just confirmed that they do appear to work. I expect they will fully charge and keep the charge normally--
BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE here: be sure the little connector is tightly and closely seated; I was convinced that it was, and repeated the process a good 6 or 7 times---yet it took a few more tries to get it right, even after I had identified the problem. This is perhaps because they are Chinese-manufactured knock-off units that may have less precise standards or whatever. Furthermore, the wires between the battery and the plug are not quite of consistent length and orientation, just to the degree that you have to fiddle with each to get a good fit. I got two different Fluoreon batteries plus a Green Planet single, and they all appear to initiate charging when the handset is in the cradle. I have been using one of the 400 mA Fluoreon pair for a month now and had no performance problems.
ALSO, all you need to do to match a battery to your handset is one of these: a) the old battery itself will have the most detail- battery model number, milliAmps, volts) and search for matching replacement; b) check for sticker under your old battery space in the handset and it should say which model you need; c) look in your phone owner's manual which identifies the battery you need; or d) look up your phone model on the manufacturer's website and there should be a battery match-up menu (ATT does have this for mine as well). It's a bit of a pain but you need that info. Also, I looked up what it meant that all these different batteries have different mAmp ratings and it was explained, correctly I hope, that a bigger number means more potential charge can be stored in the battery, so theoretically you could get a replacement battery with a higher number than the one which came with your handset and thus go longer between charges....
In short - I'm thrilled with the results. That reaction may seem odd for simple batteries but these things hold a charge for a very long time. After the first charge, my wife and I used the phone for over a week before receiving the low battery warning. With the old batteries, we were only able to manage a few hours use (never a significant portion of a day - much less a week). In fact I was beginning to worry about the second handset sitting on the charger unused for several days.
The vendor, WMicro, was also a pleasant surprise. They shipped the batteries quickly (next day) and they arrived ahead of the estimated delivery date. I wish all on-line purchases were this efficient.
These batteries breathed new life into our old phones. I highly recommend them.
Plugged in without a problem, worked fine
