I hate putting dirty shoes in my closet organizer, and this really cleans the soles well. My only issue is that it is extremely cumbersome when trying to clean. You have to pick up the entire mat, then turn it over and shake it, but I found that pretty tough to do. Also, if yours is cleaning pet hair, sticker burrs, or dust bunnies from your shoes/boots, these don’t fall out while beating out the dust, so I had to pull them out by hand. (I just purchased myself a nifty for cleaning the hair out of my hairbrushes and I think it would be perfect for this!)
Overall, would I purchase again? Yes, I would.

Really happy this exists. Works really well to get the excess dirt and debris off shoes and boots so not tracked inside. The only thing it doesn't have is an elevated side for grime on the sidewall, but this can be dealt with using a handheld brush. Great idea and purchase.

Love this thing for scraping my boots, which are always filthy from taking the dog out and working daily in my yard (lots of mud) and various projects (tons of sawdust). I put it inside my garage, right by the back door, on top of another large rug I have there to dry my feet. It had to be moved off to the side because the silly dog refused to walk on it to go into the house, but I didn’t exactly expect her to scrape her paws, so it works. If I could put one of these by my other two doors, I would, but because it has a “tray” bottom, water would collect in it and be a pain to dump out constantly. I will add that I’m unsure how well this would would for bigger feet because the mat is small. My feet are only 7-7 1/2 (women’s) and it works like a charm. I’ve been waiting for my oldest son, Mr. Size 12, to stop by so I can check how it works for him. If I could get him to wipe his boots before coming into my house it’d be one less thing for me to give him crap for!! Buying him boot covers sure didn’t work…although he says they work awesome at his customers’ homes. 🙄

The mat arrived on time and as described. It is a good size and does the trick for wiping off salt and slush before coming inside. The only reason it isn't a full five stars is the bristles are slightly...not sure the right word - softer? squishier? bendier? than I thought they would be.
