This Stump teapot completes with an extra-fine 0.3-mm stainless-steel infuser and it enables you to steep fine loose-leaf teas such as Rooibos tea to large whole-leaf teas like Oolong tea. This teapot is also ideal for use of tea bags. Stackable design allows you to save storage spaces especially for food-service market such as tea rooms, cafe, bars and restaurants.

The inside stainless steel tea-strainer basket is far superior to many of the other tea pots I've tried. It's wide and deep enough that it takes up the majority of the space available for it in the tea pot, allowing your tea leaves ample room to mix and steep in the water, not jammed near the top of the opening. The holes are also very small, small enough that I get little to no tea leaf debris falling through even with the super fine looose leaf Twinnings Breakfast Tea.
The blue color is also great, exactly as shown in the picture. The color is even, no dripping or chipping. And I have my eye on the lime green one next!
The current version is no different. I don't recall the older ones having a plastic handle in the filter, but perhaps it simply broke off after its thousandth use? This particular item is simple and sturdy... It will both last for years to come and come out the other end still looking good. You don't have to hold the lid down when you pour--which is a huge thing for me having a minor form of cerebral palsy--though if you're nervous you can apply counter pressure to the stainless steel tab... It can fill a normal 280ml (6oz) cup 3 times... Allowing me to drink my morning tea with milk, without tainting anything more than my own cup... The lid does not come off, but thats ok with me... it can be cleaned with a basic sink brush and some mild cleaner (vinegar) or abrasive (baking soda). Another interesting thing in my opinion is that the filter just happens to fit well in my daughter's old sippy cup, with a lid (The First Years Take & Toss Spill-Proof Sippy Cups, 10 Ounce, 4 Count)... allowing me to stop the steep on something i can use multiple times while also protecting it from spills, dust, cats, etc. The benefit to that is after you dump out the bulk of the leaves, the cup is then almost a perfect vessel to fill with water, shake and pour out the couple of remaining that stick to the filter. My favorite benefit though is that they stack. The bottom raised ring on the vessel fits on top of the lid of another, allowing you to safely store a couple, while taking up a minimum of space.. Very nice for the times when my wife and i would like to share tea time, while also drinking the kind we each prefer.
The color is exactly as seen on picture.
The infuser is sturdy and has a plastic handle which prevents it from being hot.
The lid was very practical unlike my some other ones where I have to hold the lid if I wanna pour my tea
Overall I am so impressed with quality
This is all I need my husband and I we like to drink a little cup of calling herbs before we go to bed and this size is really perfect.
Hint: I have some favorite teas that are not loose teas, and the leaves are chopped pretty fine because they come in tea bags. But most tea bags have been bleached with chlorine. So, I just cut the tops off two of these one-cup tea bags and pour the contents into the infuser. Even the fine-grained teas stay in the infuser, rather than end up in my teacup. Love it!
