Good luck trying to snap-off these blades

The blades are sharp, but not close to the durability and sharpness of the Olfa brand blades. The metal housing is a great size and quite sturdy. I like it because of its slender size and design.
Good luck trying to snap-off these 30 degree blades. You'll either break them off at 90 degrees or you'll need to sacrifice several snaps just to get a clean break. Since the metal housing is quite good, I just refill with 45 degree, made in Japan, 9mm Olfa blades. This combination makes for a great tool.

For the price of regular blades or an exacto kit, you get snap-off blades and reliable knives to use them in. 33 blades and 3 knives for 10 bucks is an absolute must have! I wish I'd bought 6 though. (*My wife snagged two right off to help her with letter opening and packages!) These are a great value with a minimalist profile. The slim design lets you do cutting on the face of a board with ease. Think of cutting 'Great Stuff' that you used to seal a board's airspace under your roof. I was able to slice right up to the sheet metal without any effort at all simply by sliding the knife along the board. In addition, the profile of these blades is much like a scalpel, rather than the typical 30 degree angle of a normal snap off knife blade.

The saying "don't judge a book by its cover" hasn't been truer. I looked at the packaging and didn't think anything of it but oh boy was I in for a surprise. I'm glad that rather than spend money on fancy packaging they put it towards a good product. I am wayyyyy beyond impressed with these knives and blades. I have had this item sitting in my shopping cart flip flopping to "saved for later" for about a year now and I fee to say... I only upset that I hadn't purchased it sooner. I kept putting it off as anon priority item figuring that I can just go to the hardware store for a cheap plastic one for 99 cents. This here right out of the box is sturdy, no plastic clip, clip seems like durable steel and is part of the knife itself so there's no worry about it snapping in my pouch or pocket like so meant others. The blade itself sits very firmly with no rattling like I'm used to after wear down of plastic or cheaply made metal ones, and each one came with a very good quality spare blade holder that one would normally buy separately, and every notch to move the blade is in fact a notch that is very defined and felt so that the blade doesn't move unless you intend for it to. I don't leave many reviews but I had to with this one because it far exceeded any expectations I had for it. Well but again and follow up later on as to how well they hold up after a few months of use.

These are great.
I have two; one in the kitchen and one here in my desk, and there's seldom a day when I don't use one or both.
They're basically a cross between a utility knife and an exacto knife--great precision when you need it, reliable and easy cutting when you need that.
No problems using it one-handed, easy to open and close, VERY sharp, all the stuff you need.
The snap-off blades are a little awkward; I use two pairs of small pliers to hold and break it along the separation lines, and that works fine. Replacing blades is simple and intuitive.
Great product all-around.

These are good knives for the money. I got them because they were cheaper than the olfa I had been used to. I was not disappointed. I like the slant, too. You do have to be more careful snapping the blades to keep the top from breaking. I use a needle nose and align it with the scoring. I have been pleased with the performance of these knives, after several months of use. Much nicer and easier to handle than the cheap plastic ones, at about the same price.

I cannot express how much I love these knives!!! As an artist, crafter, retail freight worker, and just as a person, I use utility knives and xacto blades every day of my life. These are the best blades I've encountered in my 20 years of life.

I have purchased these for a second time, not because they broke or that I have run out of blades, but because I love them so much and wanted more. I own 6 now, and I am very happy about that.

I honestly could write an 8 page essay about why these blades are so amazing, but here's a list of pros and cons:

PROS:
- very sharp and cuts through cardboard, paper, and other materials like butter
- aesthetically pleasing with a nice sleek design, not too bulky, yet extremely durable and feels expensive
- tons and tons of extra blades that'll last you forever (it's been about 6 months since my first purchase and I still have SO many left)
- snap blade perforations are small enough that you don't waste huge chunks (there's no guilt or stress when you need to frequently break off tips to get a new extra sharp point you have 8 snaps per blade and 10 extra blades per knife)
- locking mechanism is well made and holds up when carrying in pocket (I've sat down with them in my back pocket hundreds of times and I've never been stabbed)
- clip/blade snapping tip doesn't slip off and is strong enough to snap each section off easily
- precise enough for small/detailed cuts and still large enough to slide right through large cardboard boxes
- AMAZING value for money!!! I'd probably pay $10 a blade for this quality, not to mention the 30 extra blades
- literally everything about it

CONS:
- you will never want to use any other knife again

I am so glad to have found these because they are so perfect for every situation I've had, and I will totally be buying them for a third time in the future to give to my other artist friends :)

I was looking for replacement blades for paper-crafting. These are great. I didn't expect the 30-degrees would matter but it does a great job of keeping the blade from obscuring line-of-sight. I haven't gone through too much paper but these feel like they will hold up well enough for the price. The metal knife housing is sturdy and the locks are firm. I got these as an upgrade from a cheap plastic housing 9mm snap-off knife without a lock and it's a great improvement.
