Q&A

I bought it to reset ABS/SRS/SAS on my car, but it does not work.

  • It can not clear airbag crash code.
  • DTCs can only be erased after correcting the condition(s) that caused them
  • Please update the scanner to diagnose again, our tech-support update the software every month.
  • Please tell us the issues, We will notify the technical department for improvement.

I did not received the Verification Code when register FoxAssist(No need Verification Code when you activate the Serial Number).

  • The verification code is sent to your email address automatically, please check your junk or spam folder.
  • If you have not received the email, please try to request the code again by clicking send code at the registration page.
  • Tell us the serial number of your scanner, we will help you to finish the registration.

Unable to recognize, why it frozen when update, how to make it fast?

  • Upgrade via card reader instead of USB cable.
  • Uninstall the car diagnostic software that do not need（Via the uninstall function of the FoxAssist.).
  • Select software downloads in batches instead of all software during the upgrade process.

    I bought the NT630 Plus after having an annoying VSA light come on in my 06 Acura TSX (After some minor body work being done). I hated the thought of going to the dealership and figured this was an easy fix by just plugging it in and clearing codes, similar to what I saw on Youtube. However, got an “Not Communicating with Car” error, and couldn’t read any of the SAS codes – but oddly enough, could read everything else, so figured I must have missed something in the manual ( which is also impossible to understand). I was getting pretty frustrated and was about to return this thing to Amazon, but tinkered with it a bit more. Glad I did.

    Here are the steps you need to take to get this thing to work –

    You need to register it first, but make sure you go to the correct website !

    1) Go to the correct website – Foxwelltech.us if you go to the wrong website like I did, it will ask for your NT630 Plus’ serial number AND password. There is no password on this device, so when you go to register your product on the correct website, it will simply accept your Serial number and you’re done!

    2) Once your product is registered, go to SUPPORT > TOOLS > and then download the software for your tool. I had the NT630 plus so I chose that. I uploaded a picture of what that looks like as well.

    3) Update the software – When I went to the wrong foxwell website, it made me download some software that looked like it was straight out the 90’s and didn’t even work. I couldn’t figure out what to update. I uploaded a photo of the correct website as well as what the software should look like once you download it on the correct site – once it’s the correct site, the software extracted and installed correctly with very little input from me – it just took forever to unzip and update everything (a good 20+ minutes) .

    4) Some people are saying their system didn’t connect and needed to buy a MicroSD USB adapter, but my unit connected just fine on its own. So you might need one, you might not – but either way, if you follow the above 3 steps and the system isn’t being recognized by the computer, then you probably need to go the MicroSD USB route

    5) Once I did steps 1 through 4, I connected it to my car, and boom, it communicated with my car just fine, and I was able to clear out the annoying VSA code that lit up my dashboard.
