I bought the brown boots for my daughter less than 2 weeks ago. They fit true to size and she says they are comfortable. However, after the second time wearing them, the toe box area is scuffed and peeling. I guess because they are not real leather, the material comes off easily. The material cracks and flakes off. Also, because it's not real leather, it's a completely different color under the brown surface so it's very noticeable. I don't know if she was particularly rough on these boots but none of her other boots or shoes have this problem. The boots should be able to withstand normal wear and tear from kids and not look like this after the second use. Now she doesn't like to wear them anymore.
