For the Fantasy lovers, comes Fairies and Friends, by artist Samantha J. Decker. The book contains 20 charming photos of fairies with hummingbirds, unicorns, Pegasus, squirrels, flowers, wolf pup, butterflies and more. I was not disappointed in any of the illustrations. I really like each design. Each one is a cute as the next.

This book has a sturdy, colorful and glossy cover. Back cover shows some thumbnails of 4 of the illustrations in the book. Inside cover has the copyright page with link to Ellen Million Graphics where you can find more coloring books from different artists. The inside back cover shows several covers of some of the other books available.

The illustrations are single-sided and full page with about a ½ inch white border surrounding the image. This gives just enough room to remove easily with an Exacto knife for framing or photocopying to heavier paper, if you wish, without losing any of the image.

The lines are clean and dark with no fuzzy, pixelated or skipped lines. They are detailed illustrations with a nice balance of open spaces and smaller detail. There are some intricate areas, but not enough that it should create much problems for those with vision or dexterity issues.

Paper weight is a bit heavier than most standard coloring books. You can use most mediums on this. As with most paper, markers will still bleed through, so be sure to put a few extra pieces behind your work to help prevent damage to the next page. They do state that you can use light watercolor on this paper, but I have not tried it yet. This will depend on each individual on how heavy you use your water. So just take care when doing so. Use it lightly as they suggest. I normally use watercolor, so once I am able to try it, I will update this review with my results.

This book is good for all ages and skill levels.
