My teacher said you can't go wrong with fairtex. He was right.
Advice: metal clips go on inside of shins, tighten the straps above and below the wide part of your calf muscles-they won't move if you position them correctly. Get the straps tight. They may seem a little high, but they're not that's what works for me. I think that's how they're supposed to be worn. Very comfortable.
I have huge calves (small pecker though) and the straps are long enough.
I haven't gotten a chance to actually use them in class or sparring (muy thai) but they are quality. They seem to be pretty comfortable and secure. I did a couple low kicks against the wall. I have good range of movement in them.
I'll update when I've had a chance to wear them for a while but overall right now I am super happy with them especially for the price. I originally purchased top king shin guards because I read they were good and fit women well but honestly they were way too bulky and I couldn't properly move in them.

Build quality is good and solid, that was expected, what was not expected was that the item was delivered to my house well within a week, may have even been within 4 days.. very impressed by that.
would recommend both item and seller to a friend.
Love the brand!
